Time with Mary

Mary (Theotokos - God Bearer) captivated our hearts at the annual Advent Retreat at St. Dunstan's, Aldergrove/Langley. Contemplative "Ponder" Stations included poetry, lectio and visio divina, painting, mandala creating, and labyrinth walking. Thirty participants enjoyed contemplative practice, chanting, and teaching by Lorie Martin and Katherine Murray who facilitated connecting with Mary, The Mystic Rose, The Ark of the New Covenant, The Untangler of Knots, and spent time with Mary's fiat. Awareness of the vital and beautiful presence of Mary in our lives continues to blossom in our hearts (Chant: Slowly blooms the rose within)
